Installation

For the best result, make sure the door surface is completely clean and dry before installation.

Before removing the adhesive backing, position each guard against the door and carefully check the alignment. The guard should sit neatly against the contours of the door without gaps.

Once you're happy with the position, remove the adhesive backing, carefully install the guard and apply firm, even pressure across the entire surface to help achieve a strong bond.

After installation, keep the guards dry for at least 48 hours to give the adhesive sufficient time to bond before washing your Jimny or exposing the area to significant water.

If the guards are ever removed and later reinstalled, don't reuse the original adhesive. Fresh, suitable automotive double-sided adhesive should be fitted before reinstalling.
